Major facility construction projects
share certain attributes and requirements,
and solutions for such projects require
similar functionality to be effective.
Our experience indicates that
it is a best practice to modularize
that functionality and to make it available as an integrated whole, with as few
data entry points and as few vendors as possible, for reasons of efficiency, security
and cost control.
We therefore take
an approach clients compare to a Swiss Army Knife – a set of
fully integrated modules that talk to each other, with role based permissions such
that those modules can be enabled or disabled depending on the user’s role and permissions.
At the same time we understand that some things don’t reside and don’t really belong
in an EPC project management system, which is why we provide, internal to our software
and at no charge, a set of templates to enable easy imports from Excel. This interfacing
capability can be used to bring in budgets from your financial system, estimates,
progress from your planning application, commitments from purchasing, or anything
that lends itself to this type of import.
We also have the capability to provide a wide range of interfaces for you. Today,
our software has been interfaced with:
-
SAP
-
Oracle
-
JD Edwards
- Microsoft Project
-
Microsoft SharePoint
-
Microsoft Project Web Access
- Primavera
