sending back actual dates as they are entered into the system!”
Without the effort of duplicate entry, OnTrack Project Manager™ can export schedule-related transactions to a third party scheduling package (dates
such as purchase order issue,
material
receiving or transfer dates).
Therefore while simply using OnTrack Project Manager, your schedule can be continuously
updated as your project unfolds… so the software compares the imported planned
milestones for each “work package” to the actual data.
Initially every item of a package will inherit the same milestones but when reality
kicks in OnTrack Project Manager singles out all the exceptions allowing
these to be tracked separately by expanding itself to as many new activities as
there are variations.
Within the program, status reports highlight the areas of the schedule that are falling behind and focus your attention where it is most needed.
