Our Quick Start option consists of a week long work session with your power users,
at the end of which time they are up and running, using the system to get their
jobs done and produce reports.
First, you provide us with your coding structure and cost and purchasing reports
so we can configure the system to your needs, then “ride along” while we implement
and train your key users in an open working session. We start with our Quick Start
templates* and adjust those to fit your operations. By the end of the week your
core team will be trained and using the system to manage projects and produce reports.
The Quick Start program includes 90 days of hosting by OnTrack Engineering so we
can act as system administrator and shadow your team as they gain confidence in
their use of the system. We also provide you with Internet-based self training module
so you can refresh your knowledge of the software as and when needed, during those
first critical 90 days of use.
With Quick Start, our clients begin maximizing their return, using of the solution
to manage projects from the start. Quick Start is also a great way to manage a pilot
project, as we can get feedback from the core team during the working sessions and
use those lessons learned when we roll out the larger deployment.
*Our best practice templates are based on years of our own and our clients’ experience,
as well as recommended practices drawn from AACE’s Total Cost Management body of
knowledge, PMI’s PMBOK, and the latest findings from FIATECH, the Construction Industry
institute’s affiliate for Fully Integrated Automated Technology.
