New Clients, People and Projects
OnTrack Engineering is pleased to welcome Petrologistics Propylene LLC as
a client. They are building a 1.2 billion capacity propane dehydrogenation
plant near the Houston ship channel; it will be the largest such plant in
the world. We're also pleased to note the expanded use of OnTrack Project
Manager at Ramunia Fabricators in Malaysia, as we help support their growth
and expansion in the fabrication of offshore oil and gas related structures. Welcome aboard!
At OnTrack, we are invested in the success of our clients and proudly share
their stories on the Client section of our web site. Check out the latest

OnTrack engineering joined 800 of our colleagues last week at AACE International's
52nd Annual Meeting & ICEC's 6th World Congress on Cost Engineering,
Project Management and Quantity Surveying held in Toronto, Ontario, themed
TCM - Cost Engineering for the Global Community
Sunday night kicked off the exhibitor portion of the show, with a newcomer
wine and cheese reception that reflected AACE's growth and the trend towards
younger engineers.. Monday morning the keynote speech was delivered by David K. Foot,
Professor of Economics at the University of Toronto, and co-author of the
best-selling books Boom, Bust & Echo: How to Profit from the Coming
Demographic Shift, a fascinating look at the demographics in the US and
Canada post WWII, and how it relates to business and the economy (the good
news is, Baby Boomers are replacing themselves with a new generation of creative
thinkers!) The keynote was followed by three days of technical presentations
on estimating, cost control, scheduling and Total Cost Management as well
as software showcases, continuing education seminars, and great networking.
The Women in Project Controls task force sponsored its first presentation,
on Cost and Benefits of Building Green, one of many dynamic panel discussions.
Record numbers of attendees, including a large international contingency,
made this one of the best AACE shows to date. We're already looking forward
to next year in Seattle!

OnTrack
in step with FIATECH
(Fully Integrated Automated Technology)
OnTrack attended the yearly FIATECH conference in New Orleans in April, themed
Creating Sustainable Business Value the "Big Easy" Way:
Deploying Innovative Technologies
We joined colleagues there to showcase our solutions and collaborate on teams
dedicated to improving technologies that integrate the execution of capital
projects. For a list of presentations available for download to FIATECH members,

We'll be heading to Boston in October for the Fall Members Meeting; the theme
is Creating Sustainable Business Value: Deploying Innovative Technologies. The
members meeting builds on our highly successful Technology Showcase in New
Orleans this Spring and provides FIATECH members the opportunity to pick up
where the Showcase left off on accelerating delivery of increased, sustainable
business value to our companies.
